Since #1 son moved there 3 weeks ago it's pissed down every day. SWMBO is going up tomorrow for the week. She'll be taking her wellies and a kagoul rather than normal shoes and coat. If you think Manchester is wet, think that and double it for Scotland.
If I lived in scotchland my bike would never see the tarmac, it's wet all summer and snowing all winter. But bloody good fun when the 6 nations are on!
maybe try heading up the east coast when visiting next time folks, while all the beauty is on the west, its a lot dryer on the east and still has good roads to.
