Anyone replaced a Hid on a car. One of mine has gone, got it out and checked it on Saturday. Sourced a replacement. Do you really need to disconnect the battery just to replace a HID? Don't feel inclined to pay a dealer 3 times the price for a HID and a fitting fee for what is effectively a replacement bulb. Advice greatfully accepted.
