749 Higher Bars.

  1. Hi, has anyone here fitted higher bars to a 749r and if so what's involved?
    I noticed that the 999r for sale at JHP has them fitted and apparently they were from JHP themselves. I wondered whether there are any other Ducati bars that would fit?

  2. I have giles on mine . Same ones I used to have on my 998 .

  3. Thanks. Did you have to alter any controls, i.e. electrics, hydraulics or throttle cables and how much higher are they? I realize the fairing is a limiting factor.

  6. I put some wider bars on a 749 and had a few problems with the positioning of wiring and throttle cables from memory.

    It's not as straightforward as you'd think.

  7. I had to increase the length of the throttle and fast idle cables by 50mm all the rest were the same. I think i increased the height by approx 40 mm and about the same back but I never measured it .
