When I bought my bike it came with a very nice Avia Compositi carbon tail unit with a rear light that incorporated the indicators. Whilst this looked very neat in operation friends always complained that they could not see my brake light or indicators - plus it was VERY illegal here in South Australia and was a police defect waiting to happen. Today a new rear light sans indicators was fitted along with some mini indicators either side of the number plate using a concocted bracket assembly, (technically still illegal but less so than before ). The indicators appear to be a major improvement, the brake light needs to be seen in action to say for certain!? In to the bargain the wiring under the seat is now much neater as this time Ducati type connectors were used rather than the black sparkies tape and brown packaging tape the previous owner had used!
