  1. Just picked my bike up from Moto Rapido after its 7.5k service and Wilf special dyno tune

Gobsmacked - you kinda know that getting rid or all those useless EU sensors etc will 'release the beast'

It does - now up to a smidge under 140 hp and they said its pretty much the same as an 848 EVO now

    Nice one MR :upyeah:

It was still 8 degrees when I got there but getting dark - cant wait to take her out Sunday

  3. What did you have done to the ecu?
    Thanks

  4. Lol I have no idea he 'took it away' and was playing with new software - whatever he uses on the race bikes I guess (I have a feeling squishy was a guineapig)

Its all Greek to me - I know he remapped the stock ECU - it already had a different air filter fitted from the 1098 Termi ECU package

Termi end cans and a ceramic coated exhaust is only other mods

  5. oh dear.....

  6. and there were even bits left over :upyeah:

  7. Is it a Ducati or an IKEA?

  8. how did you conclude what power it was?

  9. I went by what they told me

Ill get the graphs if your interested

    Still feels good :D

  10. He wont believe them so I wouldn't bother ;-)

Seat of your pants is a good gauge :)

  11. Shame next time ill buy a pair of these instead and stick a banana in my mouth

  12. Didn't you enquire about some dyno time at MR, Andy?

  13. Didn't think Andy believed in them does he?!

They use a dyno away from the shop, Waterloovile way...and with Nelly or JHP on his doorstep why would he travel all the way darn 'ere?

  14. just a simple enquiry really, was the bike set up on a dyne........or was its ecu re programmed with a generic map?

  15. Yes dyno no it was not a generic map

Just wish I'd had it done 7.5k miles ago lol

Also have 14 t front sprocket and Oberon slave but not tried it round town

The power delivery makes it feel like a different bike and it just pulls on through the revs - before you had to keep it over 5k which was a pain round town

  16. A proper Dyno run will make all the difference......much better than a best guess re map loaded.

  17. For me it was worth the extra hassle and cost to take it to CJS for a custom map. But was a lot more than a DP flash set up.

  18. It was a custom map and less than Rich / CJS route

  19. OK here we go as a couple of others have asked exactly what was done

    exhaust valve switched off
    closed loop fuel trim removedmo
moddified ignition timing (each cylinder )
    modified injection timing
modified fuel map and rear cylinder trim
removed lower rpm soft rev limit in lower gears
    changed the dash display
