Home made paint oven

  1. Bit of an odd one but I'm looking to get one built I have a few ideas in mind but thought id ask around and see if this has been done before or even thought about?

    All it needs to be is big enough for a wheel tank or side panel and hold around 100 - 120 degrees for 2 or 3 hours

    Any suggestions or previous exp would be brill

  13. Mate of mine just bought a student oven microwave sized for £50 to do pretty much the same apparently it works a treat

  14. Keep an eye on local factory closures,buddy
    I want to do some powder coating for the craic
    I bought two ovens last year from a defunct screen printing co,total cost £100
    Both electric,with temp gauge/thermostat etc
    Might save you a bit of hassle if you get lucky
