1200 How Far In Advance Do You Usually Have To Book A Service?

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Vespcati, Jul 17, 2017.

  1. Everywhere I've called seems to be booked up until September!
Is there a secret password I need to use to get to the front of the queue?

  2. You are in the height of the riding season. Over the last few years, Ducati have sold more bikes than at any other time in their history but not increased the size of their network which puts a heavy demand on the current dealers' resources. The other thing is you are looking at time based servicing within the guarantee period as a lot of bikes are bought in the height of summer. If I continue do the miles at the rate I'm going, I'll be paying for 2 services this year. Andy

  3. Have you tried everyone or just main dealers? We have a list somewhere of recommended independent's.

  4. I normally book mine around Feb for an early April service (for them both)

  5. 2/3 weeks depends which service I want

  6. She's a lucky girl.

  7. Yep it's these summer/part-time riders fill the bike shops with jobs & then disappear into other worldly realms over winter in the uk ;) No, secret handshake I'm afraid in my usual dealership or special nod for jumping the queue.
