1098 How Loud Is Yours?

  1. I'm looking at doing some track days and noticed there is a noise restriction of 105 db static. I've got a 1098s with termi slip on cans... I normally keep the baffles out and know it's loud but don't know how loud. Am I likely to get away with this baffles in/out?

    Would anyone care to share their bike setup and what db it was measured at?

  2. 105db static is properly loud mate, would have thought u would be okay but if u have baffles take them with you

  3. I was shocked, my 899 came out at 103db at 4.5k revs at brands!

    Standard exhaust lol.

  4. I've got a 1098R with 70mm system. It's about 103db (no baffles). I even squeaked through at Croft with 102db limit. You should be fine. As said 105db is bastard loud!
