I reckon that : At the end of June 2012, there were 1,305,767 registered bikes on the road in the UK (21,117 Ducatis ; 1.62%). There were also 8,991 Ducs "SORN'ed" at the same point. One third of us are keen on winter storage. This seems to make sense. There were 2,180 Duc first regs in 2011 (the most for over 10 years). At the end of 2011, there were 18,013 Ducs registered, and on the road. First time regs Jan-Jun 2012 : all bikes 54,317 ; Duc 1,429. Lots of data and analysis available. Please let me know what you want to know. Regards! Stressed Hippo
It's no wonder you're stressed out if you've got all these numbers floating about in your head.
In 2012, how many people, on switching from a JIL4 to a Ducati, said "Fuck me, what have I done?"
Not sure about the colour, but in 2002 there were 203 various derivatives of 748s registered in total.
There are at least 655 Diavel owners who definitely did not puke, and I'm one of 'em! As for 998s, there are a total of 478 in the UK.
The department of transport website, statistics & vehicle licensing section. There is all sorts of stuff on there if you are a sad data geek like me! If you can't be arsed to look, I've downloaded lots of stuff as you have probably guessed by now.
