  3. if youre wearing it on the bike then it needs to fit like any protective stuff should ie well. ie., not loose and not too tight but better on the tight side than loose side

  4. No will get softer if it's decent leather.

  5. And you will get larger.

  6. is that 54 uk or 54 euro?

  7. Euro - I normally wear a 38-40 suit jacket so expected to be a 50 euro.

  8. Any built in protection shouldn’t be able to move around, eg elbow pads

If you can spin them round then not much use when you crash

  9. If you’re normally 38 - 40 chest I’d go for a 52 absolute max. In Ducati/Dainese I normally go one size bigger. Nice Jacket btw.

  11. It depends if you are wearing the jacket as a tart, an occasional day out summer ride or for more riding.

As a tart then just one gregs pasty worth of space for your white t shirt, occasional day out summer ride then 2-3 greggs pasties to allow for a hoody underneath. Most of summer riding, 3-4 greggs pasties as you'll be out riding a lot and you'll get hungry

  12. I actually thought you were going to say the opposite - a tart can afford to have a looser one but someone wearing it a lot needs a tighter one for safety. I was going to buy a perforated one and then wear my uniqlo down jacket under it in cooler days. It’s pretty thin so doesn’t need as much space as a hoodie under it.

  13. Sounds too big for you. My leathers are 54 (euro) but I'd never get into a 38-40 (UK) suit! Well, I would but I'd look quite comical :D

  15. You just want to be comfortable in it mate. Dainese sizing is weird and, being designed for slim svelte good looking Italians, is not best suited for Gregg’s pasty eating Northern Europeans. I find I have to go up 2 sizes in Dainese from what their size chart says ought to fit me.

ps Darkness is right. You will need room for future expansion. It’s a nice jacket, will go well with the Monster:upyeah:

  16. Ha, never really got that cnut. Always found him about as funny as cancer.

  17. In that case the 54 is indeed correct. I’ll go in and try it again :) Thanks.

  18. It's not everyday you hear "pop" songs with lines like this ....
    " What's that switch over there for ? "
...... or " Them locks are easy "

Humour is a very personal thing of course ..... it's always been that way .

I've always loved the surreal , far-out stuff ..... Python , Mighty Boosh
League of Gentlemen , Paul Merton's comedy series etc.

  19. No arguments there mate. I sometimes even question myself over stuff that makes me laugh. It really shouldn't.... but it does!
