hello all, looking for a way to mount my tom tom rider to the 748 and 9. Got a ram mount that connects to the clutch bracket and works fine on the ss but need another option for the others. google has thrown up one that fits in the end of the clip on tube of an 848, it states it fits 13-14.5 mm internal diameter, is this the same as my bikes?
got a set and will remove a bung and measure if ness.. Just interested if anyone is using this system or if there's a better option.. power wise, just charge at home until I get round to fitting some thing to the bikes. That will be another thread!
I bought this: Look at this on eBay 12v Waterproof Motorbike USB Power Socket Adapter Charger Outlet Motorcycle | eBay Fitted few days back and cable tied to fork under top yoke as sticky stuff is shit. Think will work ok. Will always draw power if you have something plugged in though. Also have a mobile phone holder/case on top yoke (held on with cable ties) and use phone as Sat nav. Works well enough for me.
