Hypermotard 1100evo Sp Clutch Slipping.

  1. Hey - ive not had this before....no problems pulling the clutch to pieces (standard Ducati slipper clutch as far as i know) tends to be slipping at the high end of the rev range...just wondered really what to change first.... i was gonna go for the cheap option and try the springs first... and that being said - any recommendations?

Cheers to anyone that takes a run at it...

  2. Sev’s right, chances are you just need new friction plates. They start life at 3.00mm thick across the friction pads but the recommended minimum thickness is only 2.8mm , yes just 0.1mm off each face/side of the friction material.
Most clutches go way beyond this before they start to slip and although the wear per plate doesn’t seem much it adds up across the stack.
