Just picked up a mint one, it’s had it’s belts done 3 times in its 9107 miles, last one in 2018 at 6675 miles. I’m assuming the every 2 years is just overkill ? I’m not fussed if I have to get them done but many people tell me it’s just a bit of a money making ploy and they should be okay for 10-12k miles at a time ? I forgot just how cool these things are btw
Great bikes, I love mine. It's a simple job to change the belts so why take the risk? I normally do the belts as soon as I get a new bike and then again every 3 years
