I Feel Rough.........

  1. ........I had a pneumonia inoculation yesterday..............

........damn arm at the shoulder seized up and started to hurt like hell at 9.0pm and got steadily worse.........

............couldn't sleep because of the ache and every time I moved it or lay on the arm, it felt like someone had whacked me with an iron bar......

........and today, eyes running; nose running; headache and short of breath.......

Seems to me I spent some of my life motorcycling and sidecar racing dicing with death......

.....and now I'm still dicing with death with the NHS.

  2. NHS is a lot less exciting than side car racing. GWS.

  4. Oh man up will you Al :Doctor:

It's only an injection not man flu

Awwww sending you a hug anyway :)

  5. My mum (84) refused to have hers - bloody doctors were shocked but she told them she was hoping to die of pneumonia

They don't like it when you make your own decisions

Hope you get better soon !!!

  6. Thanks All.......slowly improving at the moment.............arm is still seized up.....

.......I thought it was to stop me getting pneumonia.....instead, I reckon the buggers have given it to me.

Still..........it's a neat trick way to reduce the older population, I guess......

  7. Al, I think your body is just reacting to the (dead) virus in the jab. You will probably show some symptoms for a short while but they won't develop into anything and should soon pass.

    :)

  8. Your arm seized at 9 o'clock you say - what message are you sending.....?

  11. Vaccinations are a good thing which save millions of lives, but it is also a fact of life that the recipient sometimes has an adverse reaction. Very rarely this can cause actual damage. You are lucky @Arquebus that you didn't have inoculations for three or four diseases at the same time with bad reactions to more than one simultaneously.

  12. Complain all you like......no one listens anyway.:upyeah:
