Found a bag of bits to make up electrical connectors like the one shown below but can't for the life of me remember what they're called / the part numbers to look up the instructions for assembly.......anyone help out? And can anyone identfy this connector so I can source its 'mate'? Thanks
Top one is a Lucas, same as Ducati. AMP 2 Way Superseal Electrical Waterproof Connector With Boots - 1.5-2.5mm Wire | eBay Bottom one looks like a molex (4 pin square) or a copy. GC864 - Molex to P4/64 Bit Power 4 Pin Square 15CM | eBay
Thanks Paul but nul points on this occasion......top one doesn't match the Lucas/Ducati type, similar waterproof automotive connector but different. I'm familiar with the Molex connectors (Computoer/PC power connectors) but the second connector above is about half the size.
Sorry.... I remain convinced I have the right manufacturers or at least these are copies of them. I've spent my whole life (Man and Boy) in electronics and I know my connectors... The links were to get you started in the right direction. Once you find the final answer please let me know. No sugar in mine.......just milk.
1st one looks like a 2 way Deutsch connector What are the dimensions of the second? Looks like a Molex 4 way dual row micro - search on RS components to confirm Micro-Fit 3.0™ Connectors - Molex

Thanks for all the help everyone, appreciated. Connector one is definitely a Deutsch DT type connector (no idea if that's based on the Lucas connectors you're thinking of Paul or vice verse). The Molex connectors are used a lot in PC applications, especially for ATX power connectors to video cards. They're also known by a brand name of Phobya. They were also used by TransLogic for their dash connectors... Phobya ATX Power Connector 4Pin female incl. 4 Pins - 2 pcs Black | eBay
yes but the £20 minimum order is a bit of a nuisance. I'd forgotten about CPC, I used to use them a lot a work.
CPC is Farnells "Retail" outlet, anything you can identify on Farnell you should also be able to get from CPC just copy & paste part numbers DT062S-CE06 - DEUTSCH - PLUG, DT, THIN WALL, 2WAY, SKT | Farnell element14 DT062S-CE06 - DEUTSCH - PLUG, DT SERIES, SOCKETS, 2 WAY | CPC minimum orders only £5 & free delivery
Obviously you've identified them now but for reference Eastern Beaver (I kid you not!) offer a lot of the rarer connectors that often can only be bought in large quantities. One bloke based in Japan but a good quick service to the UK. Eastern Beaver Mouser also have some useful stuff (think I got a 1098 dash plug from them).
