1199 Identifying Aftermarket Ohlins Shocks

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Grayrobs, Apr 2, 2020.

  1. Does anyone know if there is an obvious way to tell the difference between the various aftermarket Ohlins rear shocks that are/have been available for the 1199. Looking on the Ohlins web site it shows three that are now obsolete, the TTX RT DU930 and the TTX GP DU 340 and 360. The current model is the TTX DU 466.

I don't know the differences in shock model, but I am being offered a TTX that I want to identify so I can look at the price asked and see if it is a good deal. It is definitely a manual not electronic adjustable TTX but I know there are some TTX electronic units that have been converted to manual adjustment. I am assuming that these are inferior, but I am happy to be educated.

    Thanks
