Hi Folk, Concerning my takeover of a 600ss: I've dismantled to clean tank and carbs etc..... I've come to put the battery in and route the harness and HT leads correctly around the tray. I guess the wires go round the battery tray as opposed to through the tray slot at bottom Here's an image of how I have it now. Is that correct? I'v taken the feeds to ignition CU's and Coils, by routing the harness underneath the tray, towards the back, and then over each side, for right and left. Thanks, John
That looks to be more or less as I recall it. You can tuck the wires in close to the coils out of the way of the battery. When I did a rebuild a few years back I took the wires to the regulator behind the frame cross piece because it was much neater then found I couldn't fit the air box because it was fouling them.
