Good news for our antipodean cousins that the mighty ikea chain are to open their first store down under. Local government has suggested somewhere between Auckland and Hamilton would be ideal, so as to connect the two cities. Brace yourselves guys as they unleash the flat pack torment upon you.
Ive not been home to nz in 15 years... but it may be faster to get to the Ikea there than the one 5 miles away on tne north circular...
I can speak with authority on this one as i have installed hundreds of kitchens/flatpack furniture over the years from top of the range german/bespoke english+french products plus all the stuff from the sheds.i did fit a ikea about ten years ago for a lovely lady and what a nice product/price/pleasant experience it was
What? We only get about 15,000 of them a year, to be fair tho', we only feel about 100 - 150 of them, the rest are only picked up by seismograph.
