So, I am away for a few months and finally get back home to sort out my own sh1t. I can't deny a brain bleed as I've seen the horrible x-ray - my brother has it on his phone for laughs! I did have to do tests with the Gloucestershire Brain Injury people and they confirmed that I was no worse than before (I had another brain injury 13 years ago from a horse riding accident!). So this may be me! EE provide my home phone, internet, and mobile phone. They now suggest upgrading to an iPhone for £108 per month for 2 years. At the moment, I am SIM only with unlimited calls and texts for about £12 per month and can leave when I want. My data allowance is 17gb of which I use none as I'm home most of the time on wifi. So, to my damaged brain, this looks like a crap deal. Am I missing something?
No mate, you are not. Throw away society, got to have the latest technology is bollocks. If you are happy with the phone and it does everything you need reliably, stick with it. Andy
Unless they haven’t described it very well....£108 up front for new phone and XX per month for 2 years...
Best iPhone to get for the average user is the XR or 11, neither should cost anywhere near that. Current contract offers on the new 11 from 3 mobile or from carphone warehouse below
Unless you really want an iphone, the only thing you might want to consider is reducing you data from 17gb to 1gb and thus making your monthly bill £8 instead of £12.
