What are the implications of not swapping out the ECU when fitting a set of Termi' end cans to an 848?? Will it run lean or rich and will it damage anything? Will it generate fault codes? Do you also need to swap out the air filter for a 'sports' version?? Enlighten me please........ T.I.A.
You will only get more noise. If you want more power to go with that noise, you need to do something with the ecu. Replace or reflash I guess? Similar thing with the filter as well.
you would have had cause for concern on earlier design motorcycles but as your bike incorporates a "closed loop" system with a Lambda sensor (am assuming std/not disabled) then as said, mixture strength all taken care of if working correctly.
