With an impending large service coming up I went into the forum section titled Dealer & Workshop Reviews But when I went in, all I could see was official Ducati workshop feedback. Is there a section for Ducati independents and how can we start a thread to add a new one or add a comment to an existing one?
No worries, we all have real life things going on. It was more a request for info. I see we have an official Ducati garage section but wondered if we had a independent section. More of a case of me not seeing it and not wanting to put the thread in the wrong place.
I wonder if an admin can help? I posted a review in the Ducati discussion or a great independent Ducati specialist seeing no other place to put it. Within a very short time it was moved but left a redirect within Ducati Discussion. Then after a few days, there was no trace in that part of the forum. When I go to my content, it shows it moved to Forums>Industry Reviews>Dealer & Workshop reviews However it is not visible at all if I go into dealer and workshop reviews directly, effectively the entire thread appears to have been removed Is there an invisible section I am missing, are independent reviews being hidden or is there a forum proceedure I'm unaware of being a newbie to gain access to independent reviews? Again I'm asking where they are as I can't seem to find them when looking directly.? Thanks
Thanks for the reply El Yes that thread, as I explained I can find it by going into my content but if I go into industry reviews- then dealer and workshop reviews, that is where it stops and all you can see is the official ducati garages with no way of finding the independents Am I doing something wrong or is there a break down in linking the independents from the workshop page?
As noobie says, there doesn't appear to be any access to the independent garages reviews from the 'forums' page. The only access is from the links admin puts up. Either that or it's accessed by a hidden door (should we call it forum 9 3/4 ? ).
I wonder, El when you are able to view it can I ask what route you take as going into dealer then workshops is not accessible to see the independents. Can I also ask, when you access it, are you doing so signed in or not signed in? I only ask as if you are signed in and can access it but normal members cannot find it, I wonder if it has suddenly become permission based issue?
With no feedback I can only suggest/feel that it might just be possible that the forum is funded by official Ducati dealers and as such that explains why the independents are being hidden.
And you would be wrong. I can't seem to alter the programme otherwise I would have done. However if you want to write a review on an independent dealer then crack on. Otherwise keep your sniping to yourself. Thanks.
OK, Thanks for finally telling us that there is a problem but you're trying to sort it. Much better than keeping 'stum' and letting our imaginations create reasons for this omission. And he did write a review, which is where this all started.

To reply to this El, it was hardly sniping when this was raised a month ago that a very important part of the forum was invisible to members and when asked could it be resolved the replies were, not had time to see it, I can see it and your nose is to close to your arse:grin: I do appreciate you saying now it is a technical issue that you are struggling with but I think I can resolve that in the short term until it is settled. I wonder therefore if you are able to see why my original account seems blocked and possibly see it so it can work again? Cheers
Your original account is fine as far as I can see. Try clearing your cookies and see if that helps. It normally does. ps. Which account do you want to keep and which do you want deleted?
