  1. Thought I'd try here ahead of putting this onto eBay at a higher price. You never know, there maybe someone on here who'd like this.

    Canon C100 Mk2 (Canon Website)

The later iteration of the C100 benefits from Dual Pixel Autofocus as well as a far batter EVF than the earlier C100. It utilises a 4k sensor internally down sampled to 1080p Full HD. This results in a fabulous image and file sizes that are undemanding on storage, both on the SD card storage in the camera but also on your PC. Easy to edit without a particularly powerful PC too.

This is a proper cinema camera and a definite step-up from using a DSLR. Out of the box it has all the features you need built in and at a touch of the numerous programable buttons. Things like internal ND filters, peaking and zebras are a game changer. It can shoot in Canon Log, Wide Dynamic Range or EOS std picture profiles. I almost always used Wide DR, good dynamic range and easy to colour grade. The built-in audio recording has quality preamps and two full sized XLR ports for professional microphones. There’s also a 3.5mm jack for prosumer mics too. There are decent quality microphones built into the top handle as well as another ‘scratch audio’ mono mic built into the camera body. The lens mount is Canon EF/EFS so there's a vast range of lens options out there, Now that the RF range of lenses are current EF lenses are widely available and reasonably priced.

The Dual Pixel Autofocus and when paired with certain STM lenses, such as the 18-135mm lens included, makes the camera capable of face tracking.

This camera is in good condition with a clean sensor, it shows some minor signs of use such as some paint missing around the tripod thread in the foot. The screen is in good condition. It all functions exactly as it should, no faults. See pictures. The hour count is 1034.

A great interview/run and gun camera and an entry in into the Canon Cinema Line camera system. Low power consumption means the included batteries are enough for several hours of shooting or power directly from the mains.

As well as the versatile Canon 18-135 STM lens this camera also comes complete with two batteries (both in good condition; one 5200mAh, the other 7800mAh), two 64GB SanDisk SD cards (for over 5 hours of Dual Slot recording), lens and body caps, battery charger and a separate mains power source. This is a complete kit, ready to start shooting out of the box.

I've owned this camera for about 6 years, I have two of them and have recently upgraded to a C200 so this one is now surplus to requirement. The C100 Mk2 opens up a wealth of creative filmmaking options for professional creatives and hobbyists alike. If you haven't already, to make the most of this camera, you'll need to enter the world of video editing using something like Davinci Resolve which is free. The full HD 1080 footage is ideal for YouTube and other online use. This is internally down-sampled 4k from the sensor resulting in a great image. I've been using it in a professional capacity shooting corporate interviews.
