Is Peter Obourne your hero? He just resigned from the Telegraph because of its slack treatment of the HSBC scandal. I used to sub his copy two decades ago when he was the Evening Standard's man in Paris.
Not true, I totally agree that are you Peter Obourne's older brother? In any event, I always agree with fin, even/especially when he's wrong ... and, my goat, he can be so wrong sometimes!

There are plenty of us working for the quality press. Pity its owners don't often take our lead though.
I still think that's preferable to a government-sponsored or controlled press though, as in Cuba, for example.
