Had my bike on the dyno today Sadly couldn't make it back down to CJS as haven't got the spare time anytime soon so off it went to Hilltop Motorcycles Geoff is a great bloke, has a laugh and is very knowledgeable Anyway the ride back was miles better as the bike is so smooth now getting on the throttle and Geoff managed to pack a few more ponies and pounds of feet into the lump Bit of a dip at 5500 which Geoff says is a misfire because of the plugs, as when I got the bike it had a full system (Mivv/Termignonis) but running the map for slip ons and the lean running butchers the plugs The pre tune lines on the graph are with it running the Ducati 2-1 map All for the princely sum of £360
That's a pretty decent gain. Does it feel more powerful or has it just smoothened everything? Nice one, looks like a worthwhile spend. :sunglasses:
It does feel more powerful low down as well as smoothed it out I'll give it a proper ride tomorrow as today was a bit too windy......I got picked up by the wind as I was halfway round a roundabout
Nice - looks to be the same as my evo when I got that one done. Id be interested also - why the disagree ?
After a proper few rides I am very happy.... Ive just got to relearn that I can open the throttle a bit sharper now as before I had to be very delicate as it was very jumpy at low revs Downshifts are smoother which I'm assuming is a product of the cylinders working evenly and not one pulsing more than the other.....If you get what I mean....
Yip - youll find low speed crawling through traffic a lot easier - oberon slave for you next m'laddie!
Ive almost got half a mind to order something from oberon just to leave on my desk in the office (everything ive had from them is beautifully made....kinda like old people feeling up fruit/bread in Tesco's....
