March 26th this year is the first awareness day for those suffering with or have died from a brain tumour. According to a programme last night, only 1% of the funding for cancer research is spent on brain tumour research yet 16,000 people a year are diagnosed with a brain tumour. To raise awareness, it's wear a hat day. My father passed away many years ago after complications arose from the treatment for his inoperable brain tumour. The (scary) significance of the timing for me, it would have been my father's birthday today. I shall be wearing at hat today in his memory. Andy
