Right well after selling all the alpinestars stuff I previously purchased for my mrs I'm now learning the hard way and having to buy her kit all over again. she never really enjoyed being perched on the top of my Rc8's or 848..... Or blade for that matter..... Picky cow (joking dear) i decided on the multi 1200 as I thought it might make her want to start coming out again as since having the new baby it's rare we get time just to ourselves, what better way to spend time with the mrs whilst blasting around on a loud Twin both wearing helmets and not talking (it's all in the detail) anyway, i could simply go out and buy her some more Astars kit just like mine but frankly until I know she's back in to biking I'm reluctant to do so hence why I'm considering a cheaper alternative for her. some of the Ixon textile stuff looks and reads ok spec wise, obviously it'll need to be fairly waterproof but were unlikely to soldier on if things get really bad, it's only if we get caught out. does anybody have experience of it? If so is it fit for the purpose of occasional trips, no commuting and warm when required but breathable in the hotter weather?
No experience of it, but 2wheeljunkie have some really good deals on this sort of kit at the moment. I've had quite a bit of stuff off them over the last few years, good prices and quick delivery ;-)
