If you are after a cable for use with JPDiag, Guzzidiag and TuneECU I came across this. https://www.onbuy.com/gb/vag-kkl-us...udi-vw-skoda-seat-obdii-eobd~c10753~p1121324/ States it uses the FTDI chip.
You need the Fiat Adaptor https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303307561250 Lonelec do have a good rep for selling the complete package though https://www.lonelec.co.uk/Motorbike...ware/Guzzidiag-Melcodiag-3pin-Interface-Cable Looks like they have updated the OBD connector as well.
More than a tenner. The full kit is over £30 and the KKL lead over £25. If the cheap cable is genuinely FTDI and not Winchiphead then it is a cheap route into bike diagnostics.
Much appreciated ! It was on my shopping list after reading this thread Thanks for buying it , checking it out , and reporting back .... good man yourself !
This should fit the bill. The cable needs to be FTDI chipset https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TuneEcu-...=p2349624.m2548.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 You will also need a Fiat Adaptor https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16Pin-OB...=p2349624.m2548.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
You need to supply power to the USB cable. My advice is, connect the Red to the battery positive and connect the Black to a good earth on the frame or engine. By doing this you will avoid damaging the ECU by polarity inversion.
thoughts on this badboy - same seller as the cable but he has a couple of different accounts. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/22259755...ZV7lW7WYSY2uwa6G5LPY7mMsO70=|tkp:BFBM_MyxqKVg
