Has anyone used a NOCA battery jump starter on a Streetfighter V2S?. I've just taken delivery of my bike and am still getting acquainted with it. I've not had any issues with the battery as of yet but have had plenty of flat bike batteries in the past. This bike's tech is far advanced to my last bike and it also has a lithium battery. Therefore wanted to check that using a NOCA was not going to cause any damage. If the NOCA is an option how do I access the battery and terminals?
NOCO do not include a lithium chemistry battery in their list of batteries suitable to jump using any of their jump packs. I look long and hard recently. However, there are several web sites that say you can jump a lithium battery but it carries a risk. I believe lithium batteries with a BMS are less likely to self destruction, in the worst case. I carry a NOCO jump pack but have yet to use it on a lithium battery. Works really well on lead acid and AGM. Andy
