Thought I would say hi, put down a deposit on a 1100, took it for a test ride from local dealer and really enjoyed it. Now I need to wait 4 weeks before collecting it. 4 weeks that is bordering on cruelty
It really does ride the way I like bikes to ride. Seven years ago I bought a new speed triple without even test riding one, I had always wanted a speed triple and was in local bike shop chatting to the salesman and he gave me a an offer that I couldnt refuse. I had a buell at that time that I really liked, but believed all the road tests. I kept the speed triple but hardly rode it and traded it in for a Husky 450 supermotard. The husky is great fun down local bumpy twisty roads but not very good as a form of transport. The hypermotard felt just like a light buell, the only issue that I had was with the race exhaust that was much too loud for me. The salesman was willing to sell cheaper with a standard exhaust on so I felt it would have been rude to say no.
