Hi all, Just, well, because everyone likes pictures I thought I would post up about the replacement shock on my 748. Here is the original shock: I bought a brand new Showa Shock off eBay italy to replace the 22,000 mile sachs unit off my 748E - I know its no ohlins but it cost me just £120 delivered(!) for a BRAND NEW showa unit - not much more expensive than getting my crappy sachs new oil and gas... Because I saved so much cash on the shock, I got hold of a Hyperpro progressive spring for it to fit whilst if was off from Jeff Green @ GTEC performance. Old and new shock: I bolted it on today after paying a local bike 'garage' to swap the spring over for me, and here is the result: Not bad for £200 total. Just needs setting up now...
