I'm looking at the local Northern Ireland news, it's good to see justice being handed out over here..... Not only have terrorists and murderers been released after two years BUT now a drunk driver who killed a teenager has been sentenced in Letterkenny court to eighteen months in prison, so he will serve nine months . The drunk driver who was traveling at up to one hundred miles per hour had no licence nor insurance and had 483 previous convictions. 483!!!!! Eamon lynch was described as having the biggest criminal record in Irish and British judicial history. I bet the victims relatives are proud of our justice system . Now remember this when someone is jailed for longer when caught speeding or by causing death in a genuine accident. Rant over.
This case was not in Londonderry, but Letterkenny. The offence and the sentencing took place in the Republic of Ireland, not Northern Ireland.
And justifiably so. Its times like this that one can only sympathise if/when the family of the victims take the law into their own hands. :rage:
Yeah,Northern Ireland is different? That's the place where murdering Terrorists who shoot,bomb and execute innocent civilians become celebrity politicians and young brace soldiers following orders and protecting civilians are arrested 30/40 years later and accused of murder.NO SURRENDER.Rant over
How can this be British Justice??? This was 44 years ago in 1972 and relates to the shooting of a well known active terrorist.The two ex serving soldiers are now 67 and 66 year old men - their only "crime" is being the only two still alive that were involved in the incident?
