Does any ecu type change need doing with k&n, 2013 model, seems to run better and maybe hotter, cheers, Chris, West sussex
No, fuelling should adjust(to a certain extent) K&N is not a proper race filter as such should not allow much more air to pass. Just my opinion, maybe safer to ask a Ducati specialised tunner.
Fueling on a stock ecu would take up some slack but not all....id say fit the filter and get it dynod. Without that I'm hazard it would run lean...
The triumph USA tech said they tested flow of a kn filter. Said up to 500 miles it flowed more after a proper cleaning and oiling. After that he said it flowed less than stock.
On most bikes I've tried unless set up on a rolling road and with other things, I've found the stock filters tend to work best.
