Keeping In Touch With The Community

Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by JGEOC, Feb 9, 2020.

  1. Hey all;

    Just a quick introduction to myself.. I'm Jack , some people may recognize my name as I'm currently working within the Motorcycle industry, especially at the former Design Corse as I was the Technical Sales Advisor and had contact with a quite a few of the members within this community.

    As many of you are aware, unfortunately Design Corse is no longer however I plan to remain active in these various communities as I am a huge motorcycle enthusiast (especially Italian bikes) and definitely appreciate and would like to maintain the relations I've developed across the two years at working at Design Corse and be a part of these great forums

    I've been riding for the past 4 years, pretty much every day across two bikes throughout the years (KTM RC125 & Ducati Monster 797+), riding an approx ~25k miles in all different weather conditions. I've attached a picture of my Monster below, it's got a few mods done to it and probably soon to be more.

    Looking forward to being a part of this community!

    PS: Just a quick note as I assume a few people will ask.. I have read through the forum & community posts regarding the closure of Design Corse. First of all; thank you to the people who were showing support for the team (especially the positive comments regarding myself, hugely appreciated) however I would like to mention that unfortunately I was not aware of the situation until the day it happened the same as many of our customers and I do sincerely apologise to anyone who has suffered due to these circumstances, unfortunately this was beyond my control.

    As mentioned, I hope to continue to be a member of this community into the future.

  4. It must have been rough being told that day the company closing & that you were out of a job. I hope everything has worked out for you.

    Nice bike!

  6. Appreciate the kind welcome guys.

    It was a shock however these things happen in life unfortunately. I know an apology from myself doesn't change the fact some people may be out of money but I do hope it clears up some info as per some comments I've seen on other threads but thanks to everyone for the nice comments :upyeah:

    Looking forward to continuing to be part of this community!

  11. If administrators/liquidators were appointed then they will hold an auction to try and recover as much money as they can to pay creditors.
  12. Love to know when that is (and where)!
