  1. I know that it seems like these carbs are all we ever talk about....

But I have a quick question...

On the inlet side to the carb, under where the velocity stack would normally bolt on, but now the Sudco aluminium extender fits, you know, the bit you remove to get acccess to the Main Air Jet and the Slow Air Screw... Theres a recess in the carb body that looks like it should contain an O ring that goes all around the perimiter of the throat of the carb.

Should there be an O ring in there? http://www.ducatitech.com/2v/img/fcr_face.jpg

Im just going through my 'new' set of carbs to put them back to the exact spec recommended by California Cycleworks. So far, I have found a 160 main jet, as opposed to the recommended 155, shouldn't be too much of an issue that. The float heights are all spot on, as are the slow running jet, and the adjustment on the slow air screw.

Now to take the tops off!

  2. My one has nothing there no o-ring.
