spent this morning fitting a keyless fuel cap to my 1200PP, followed the instructions on here and almost got carried away following the instructions and removed the tank. Luckily I had trouble removing the fuel line and had another read of the instructions to see if I could get away without taking it off. But there's no need at all to remove in in the first place regardless of what the instructions say. Probably an updated wiring loom. Job is all done now, just need a trip out to fuel up as i'd run it almost to fumes thinking the tank had to come off. Very trick, but a little wary that it plays up especially going to Assen on friday.
Yor right there. I had to take my tank off to fit spots as the plug was actually under the tank. Fuel lines off . All worked out but a long steady job. 2017 1200s.
