Hey Both tyres going in the bin. Any reason I can't attack with a hacksaw/multi-tool rather than pay someone to remove if I deflate first? TIA CR
CR, you will damage the rim cutting the beads - do not attack it with a cutting device. Best get some long tyre levers (>250mm ones not push bike ones), break the beads off the rim with your foot and with small pad to protect the rim lever the beads off. Takes two minutes with the right tools.
Not done yet, yesterday was her last hurrah, SORNing her today and will check in bleak mid winter when I may get a discount on labour when I need to send her up to a decent mechanic in a pile of bits in the back of a van to sort out the mess I get in.
