Bought these recently. Great gloves but too small for me. I’ve worn them 3 times fondly imagining that they’ll stretch and be fine. But they won’t. They’re too small. Yes, I’m a twat. They cost over £200 but I’ll take £150 for them. Bargain when you consider my DNA’s on them..... They’re size large btw. I thought my hands were large. But it seems they’re even bigger....
Dunno. I’ve actually got the XL version. Great gloves but thought they were a bit big. Then I bought these and they’re too fucking small... doh!!!!
Hit each finger mercilessly with a club hammer, just stopping short of breaking bones. Swap hands to do the other one before the bruising fully kicks in. I accidentally flailed one hand with a 4 inch angle grinder 20 years ago, and that hand needs half a size up now.
Could be interested, I'm looking for some new gloves, my XL size Astars are well past their best and I'm looking at other brands after your comments about them not crashing well. How do these compare for size?
Well this is my hand and they’re too small… Joking aside, I know it sounds obvious, but I won’t be buying gloves again unless I try them on…. As I said, the XL are a tad too big and L are a tad too small.
I bought these (L) from Fleabay last week. Would happily swap for Mary's as I prefer the red/white/black colour combo.
Point taken. I made the same mistake and have a pair of Held gloves that arrived yesterday and are going back - the left is too big and the right is too small, but they both have the same size label in! If you happen to be heading in the direction of North Lincs in the next couple of days, stick them in your pocket and I will meet you to try them on.
Or use leather stretching/ softening spray. https://www.northshoes.co.uk/access...jZYzsgK7wZCA5C1nYhc2_mONuePIh-EoaAl8lEALw_wcB
That would making buying gloves interesting, 2 pairs to make 1 or a sneaky swap in the shop of 2 different sizes?
