Anyone got one and what do you think? im less lean and muscular than i once was so will i look like a portly power ranger when wearing with jeans because i see they are cut quite slim im usually a 40/42" chest in tops and about 79kg and 5 10"
I don't know if this helps you at all with sizing, I'm 6ft 3, 90kg and a 38.5 chest. I bought XL and sent it back as it was like having excess skin... However I really do want another one as I like it a lot. Another thing to mention is I'm not sure how well the jacket intergrated with full length gloves. With shirt cuff gloves not very well. The jacket length was long enough but the material just bunched up and that didn't feel comfortable. Edit: the finish of the jacket felt really good though which is why I want to try it on in store with full length gloves and then hopefully buy it. It's got some decent weight to it, feels like it wouldn't disintegrate if you did happen to crash
very helpful thanks im going to go try one on at a branch of infinity as it looks like neither M or L will be perfect
If the Honister fit is anything like the Urbane fit then go for a size larger than you normally would get. I bought the Urbane in medium last year and it was way too small.
I may have an Urban Pro in L for sale. Hardly used. Will know today as I’m out for a long ride in the heat. I’ve lost a load of weight since I wore it last would be only reason for sale. EDIT. Not for sale. Bit loose but still ok.
@RC1, might be useful, https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesoci...rs-suits/knox-honister-aaa-mesh-jacket-review. Andy
I have an Urbane Pro Mk3 vest in large. I'm 6', 42" chest and 34" waist, it's a great fit, especially with the optional chest protector fitted. Also bought the Dual Pro over-jacket in large and the Urbane Pro Mk2 trousers in medium. The latter are unworn and will probably be sold. The over-jacket works well, not built to be durable in an off I guess, vest must be worn underneath. However, in combination, along with the quilted inner, it makes for a very adaptable layered outfit. Albeit only showerproof so something like a Scott jacket is also required.
