as a South African who was now lived elsewhere for almost twenty years I say shoot the bloody poachers if the animals don't get them first. About the murder of landowners, once the rest of the world got what they wanted in '94 no gave a t*ss anymore... so it doesn't really matter. Very, very sad...
Not sure why, I’ve no love for poachers. Probably even less for those that are creating the problem by giving it a market place.
Anyone seen a video not that long again whereby a family got out of their car in a wildlife type park with their young children, next thing there was cheetah running up to them thinking it’s dinner time. One of my points was that I suspect if they got killed, the animals would have been destroyed. I was on holiday and a bear walked into a town and the cops shot it, locals were furious to be fair. Anyway, not really relevant to the original post, but just saying I would be more sympathetic to wildlife than stupid people or poachers.
