Lazy Wet / Dry Clutch Question

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by Jon Wright, Aug 21, 2025 at 9:59 AM.

  1. Will the clutch springs from a “standard” dry clutch (900ss, 888, 916) physically fit (inner / outer dia and length) into a “standard” wet clutch (Pantah, 750ss, 620 Monster)
Alternatively, if anyone has a wet clutch spring and some verniers to hand, could you reply with the relevant measurements?
I think the dry springs are significantly stiffer than the wet and that is what I need , and as I have loads of spare dry springs, wanted to check this first.
Why lazy? Because it saves me a wet clutch strip (and oil/filter change while it’s apart, of course) just to find out.
    Thanks

  2. I have a spare wet clutch spring from an 848 I can measure if that helps?

  3. Thanks A.M. I don’t know it will help but it can’t hurt! :upyeah:
