Any recommendations for a good leather conditioner? (1 piece suit) Just finished my bottle of Gliptone which I've had for years. What's everyone's current favourite? Liquid/wax ? Cheers.
I read somewhere, I think from one of the leathers manufacturer you shouldn't put anything on it at all. Just a damp cloth with no soap to clean of the flies and that's it.
I just bought this. Havent really tested it yet but the advert was convincing. £20 for a 400gm tub from ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201618221221 Linky. This is small tub.
Armourall Leather care - If its good enough for Rolls Royce seats, it's good enough for my leathers. Smells nicer than Renapur too.
It may be good enough for bums to rest on in Rolls Royce cars, but Rolls Royce seats don't have to protect your arse when your sliding down the road at 70mph
Dont tell Mrs boots but Ive used the leather conditioning wet wipes we got when we bought new ekornes chairs. She cant find the packet, which is good as Ive used them all. They worked nicely. Hehe. I also use Chelsea Leather Food mostly and some Gold saddle soap to clean them with. https://www.amazon.co.uk/REUSCH-7960-CHELSEA-LEATHER-FOOD/dp/B000IMMBOS https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gold-Label-Soft-Saddle-Soap/dp/B00803CXKO
I've been pleased with the Aviakit treatment kit from Lewis Leathers -- successfully refreshed various pairs of boots and gloves, a set of Frank Thomas two-piece leathers, and genuine 60s Lewis Leathers jacket and trousers. https://www.facebook.com/LewisLeathers/posts/887710468010635
Has anyone used Duckswax? I'm wondering how it compares to my trusty old Renapur. Whoops, thread necromancy
