Leathers ... Are you an inny or an outty ???

  1. In the past I had Spyke 1 piece leathers and Alpinestars boots. Tended to tuck my leathers in the boots, but, occasionally, I would wear my leathers over my boots.

Due to needing new boots, and bigger leathers :frown: I now have Sidi boots and Alpinestars 1 piece leathers ..... With no chance of tucking the leathers in the boots. No matter what I try, and how I adjust the boots etc there is just not enough room in the boots to go over my new leathers.

So, I'm now an outty all the time ..... And not through choice.

Any one else have this problem?

  2. inny for boots designed to be inny, outy for boots designed to have the leathers outy (dianese out). My suom race boots pleatny wide enough for inny, my daytona race boots have the leathers of the inner then the bootsouter over the leathers.

  3. Leathers firmly in boots - they wouldn't do up otherwise, and I'm not sure I'd want to go there even if I could - Rossi is the only one who can carry-off the "outty" look without looking a total pratt IMHO

    (present company excepted of course)

  4. Inny 100%

Can't deal with having my back protector down inside my trousers tho, feels like somebody is "scooping" me.

  5. Inny.Leathers wouldnt fit outside my boots.

  6. In definitely. Out just looks wrong.

  7. Depends on which leathers and which boots, Kushitani's and Dianese are innies, Hein Gerickes are outies, Alpine Star boots are innies Sidi outies.

  8. Inny with leathers (but then I do have very skinny ankles) outy with textiles.

The other half is like 470four with the back protector outside trousers look, which I just don't get. Surely the leathers should be stopping the back protector material being abraded on the road, and the back protector should be stopping e.g. the zips on the back of the trousers grinding into the skin on your back, or gravel being scooped into the gap between jacket and trousers?

  9. I wear Dainese leathers designed for boots inside, but rather than fork out loads for Dainese Axial 'innie' boots, I have Puma boots that fit outside no issues, if they work for Ducati test riders, they will do for me!

  10. Always in
Though I pull the trousers up slightly because I can't stand the zip rubbing my ankle

  11. I wondered where that sentence was going to end there for a minute!

  12. Deffo outy,in keeping with my charecter.

  13. Always inny, but I'd love to have some Dainese outty's - I think they look really cool

  14. innie, in either my commuting leather jeans or my one piece, there would be no possibility of being an outie.

  15. Lol better keep on track here :-D

  16. ZIP it!

  17. :p

  18. Innie and a lefty...:upyeah:
