The OP asks about the rear of a SBK 1098, then someone answers with the front of a Multistrada! Something wrong there.
A lot who have done it, wire in these, they fit the space well, if you want a set I have a brand new boxed set we can sort a deal out on. I purchased to do the same job decided against it as my plans changed
Think the general idea is to either epoxy them in place or use some bodyfiller to hold them in place. A reasonably simple job, I just have different plans now. You cannot get any that just simply screw/bolt in as there is nothing to fix to
