1200 Leo Vince Decat

  1. Anybody know how much work is involved to get a leo vince decat to fit a 2014 model multistrada...
Apparently the diameter on the header pipes is different to previous models?

  2. I think you'll be hard pressed to buy one as only a small amount were made! Have you got one?

  3. They are on fleabay

  4. No not yet but intend on getting one if it's not a major issue to get it to fit.

  5. Not a problem, bolted on straight away. Have mine fitted to an Akra can, (had to trim a bit off the end of the LV pipe to accept the Akra). Currently using a Termi baffle in the Akra, had to do a bit of searching but finally found one that fits the Akra can. Sound is perfect now.

  6. Sound clip plz if you can. Thanks bud. Also any info on wat/how much you cut off.

  7. P.s that looks pretty good too and I have an issue with the aftermarket full systems apart from the QD but they are mega bucks.

  8. @AlphaTera can you give a bit more information about which Termignoni baffle you used ? Thanks, Andy

  9. Sorry, I was mistaken... After looking back, I remembered the Termi baffle I originally ordered did not have a large enough opening (not enough flow), only 32mm, so i returned it and ended up using a LV baffle,

This is the one I used
LEO VINCE SBK SPARK ARRESTOR DIAM 50MM item #307587801R
had to modify it by drilling a hole so the set screw could be reversed and had to shorten it a bit to get it to slide all the way in. 1mm smaller on the diameter would have fit better, it was a tight fit, I had to do some sanding and polishing..

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  10. Did you not try the specific baffles for the decat pipe? That Leo Vince do, or do you have them fitted also?

  11. The LV baffle that goes along with the decat pipe only fits in the stock silencer, it will not work with the Akra silencer. I ran the stock silencer/LV decat with that baffle and decided to change as the sound was not very nice and the power seemed to be way down, even running tuneboy. The power does feel down, just slightly, with the current baffle in compared to no baffle, but it is just way to loud without it. Haveing the baffle in the end pipe does allow for quick removal if wanted.
