I currently have some money in my PayPal account burning a hole in my pocket and the desire to create more noise on my standard 796 Hypermotard. I would love the Termigoni slip on can but are 700 odd quid so looking for a second hand one ideally but i have come across this LeoVince decay system/pipework which seems a very reasonable price. I have done some reading and LeoVince seems to get good press on here. I have attached the link but is there anything else i need other than what they send with the kit? Will it fit with the standard end can and will it need some sort of re map? DUCATI HYPERMOTARD 796 10-12 LEOVINCE DECAT ELIMINATE CAT *PROMO DEAL*IN STOCK* | eBay Thanks
If you've got a stock system you could gut the rear pipes also. . . That would go hand in hand with the decat .
The listing is for the pipe work only and as the sound mitigation on your bike is in the CAT, your OE end can will be VERY loud. An ECU remap is often recommended but not knowing your particular model, I couldn't say with any certainty if it would be essential. I have the LV decat pipework fitted to my Multistrada and now have regrets not waiting to find a good second hand system. Andy
There was a lad on here that not only gutted them he shortened them also (can't remember who) but they looked really trick. Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
My bike is a 2011 796 if that helps. I'm in no rush but stumbled across it by accident and wondered if it was any good. Ideally id like Termigoni slip on exhaust
Yes but as you said termis are expensive.... A stock pipe that makes the same noise as a termi but shorter.... Is... A bit different... Plus if you did it could tide you over til you sort out a termi. Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
That's very true. Never thought about shortening it but that would look very cool as they stick out just a few inches too far in my opinion
Yeah... But my point was a gutted set of shortened pipes.... Not many people have those.... [emoji3] Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
