What's the plan, lightest track bike ever? Superblingy road bike? How much are those titanium frames?
Titanium? I should be so lucky! 'fraid it ain't going to be all that light as it's going to have lights, mirrors etc, not to speak of two silencers. And as I can't see (sic) a set of bar end mirrors keeping my poor old licence safe that means a steel front subframe to support a pair of stock ones. Which is a shame as Steve does a bitchin' alloy one. So looks like it'll be street bling, then. But never mind, I'm sure it'll be getting battle scars in pretty short order, eh?
Really like the seat unit. Getting tired of seeing really small rear ends. Unless I am looking at fanny. Any plastics up front?
Yes, well spotted. After quite a bit of research and experimentation we've found wood to be the lightest material that will still withstand modern high performance fuels. I hope that the tank material will be less obvious once painted.
Bollocks .... I think you're right. So that's what Steve meant when he said I'd notice how much lighter than standard the bike would feel. Bastard.
