Had elaborate plans of getting the mother in law to get me one (Bromley resident) but you have to turn up with your V5. Don't fancy transferring ownership of the Ducati, just for the sake of a cheap chain. It's like those pesky law enforcement people knew we'd try and cheat the system to get one.
What would be better than giving out chains, would be for boroughs to actually give us anchor points to chain our bikes to. Infuriates me that a simple sunken bar going the full length of the bike bay, is beyond their comprehension. Alternatively they could design sections of kerb that have diagonally bored holes that would fit a chain through. Doesn't have to be impenetrable, just enough that it will attract attention if they tried to lift it.
