999 Lock Stops

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by Wooly46, Nov 18, 2019.

  1. Anyone got any suggestions for adding lockstops for a race bike? Cheers

  2. Can’t you just use a couple of alloy spacers on either end? Been toying with this idea and removing the nylon jobby to get a bit more lock.

  3. Do away with the stops and cable tie those rubber jobbies onto the top rails of the frame.

  4. Any photos, Andy?

  5. Will look when I've time.
They are a posh version of the poor mans cut hosepipe around the frame rail.

  6. Or how’s about milling a thin stainless plate to the bottom yoke profile, same depth. Then another plate on top extended either side. Top one with holes either end for the alloy stop jobbies?top plate countersunk and fixed to the original mounting points.

  7. Is it these that cable tie to the frame rail?
