916 Long Winter Continues

  1. The view outside from the bike shed currently looks like this.

This means all I can do is just look at the machine.

Sometimes I find myself with a rapidly cooling cup of coffee just staring at the tank.

I try not to think of all the things that need to be sorted by the time spring arrives....Never did get the clutch leak plugged. Time to torque the stator nut. Fork oil needs changed. Rear ohlins appears to be falling apart...

Mostly however, I admire how a design that is now 25+ years old still looks timeless. Always feel lucky to have one, even if I can only actually ride it for six months a year!

  2. I spent two winter months in Ontario a few years back. Don’t blame you staying in the shed for the time being.

  3. It is even worse torture when the weather is good but you're not allowed out... Bikes_Edited.JPG
And I also still have loads of jobs to do! But the view is always good... :)

  4. Has been a particularly snowy winter.

55cm in the last week alone.
