I have a 2017 959 with the well documented crap MC that constantly gathers air and i'm bored of weekly bleeding so begrudgingly need an upgrade. Does anyone know of one that doesn't also require burning £200 on replacement run/stop switches like you need to do with Brembo RCS? Do Hel/Galespeed/Accosato etc levers clear the OEM switchgear? Any reccomendations? Also any experience with the 19/17 options (original is 18 but that doesn't seem to be a thing)? ...Or anyone flogging used switches/ MC at reasonable money? Ta.
The only way I got round that issue was to remove the ABS, but as mine was a track only bike wasnt too worried about doing it but had to spend a bit more as needed new lines and the ABS delete module I also had the issue with clutch side (more than brakes) and had to replace to an Oberon which fixed that side instantly
i second the abs delete, but i ride on the road, the simpler the system, the less can go wrong. never had a problem
